Have You Got Adrenal Fatigue Syndrome?

Well I do and it has taken a year to find out. Adrenal Fatigue - The 21st Century Stress Syndrome, written by Dr. James L. Wilson has become my bible to restoring my health.

This has been a very long 12 months. One year ago, this week, I suddenly lost all my hair and developed symptoms of what looked like MS. I have been through every treatment imaginable. I have given more blood to testing than any vampire has sucked. Finally have found the answer, and am now going through treatment. Due to high stress levels and a hyst, I have burnt my adrenal glands out. They are fried. Listen, ladies this is just emerging as a very normal process that we go through with all the demands in our busy lives. Instead of technology making life easier we have just gotten busier. So get your adrenals checked by a hormonal therapist and get the natural products that are being developed so you don't destroy yourselves before your time. We have a lot of living and giving to do. Get educated and get motivated. I am going to be 50 in 6 weeks and I plan to be bugging all of you for another half century. - excerpt from my Facebook profile.

This is a fairly easy read. It is very informative and even has a quiz to take to see if you have any of the symptoms.

There is an amazing amount of systems in our body that need good strong adrenals to keep us functioning properly. So many things we have treated independently, of each other can be resolved with adrenal therapy. Which by the way consists of mainly natural ingredients.

I found another source for information on this subject is Dr. Linda @ drlindadouglas.com http://drlindadouglas.com/?awesm=fbshare.me_AKLqM&p=219 read her website on the topic. She breaks the symptoms down very simply.

How Do You Handle Your Lizard Brain?

There are many forms of Judgement. One is to use our intelligence to assess a situation or idea from gather information and facts.

Another one is on a barely conscious level, we make a judgement based on appearance. This form of judgement is called our "Lizard Brain" - it is concerned with our survival. It sits at the base of our brain at the top of our spine. It is our Old Brain. It can cause us to make a snap judgement. This can lead to us dismissing an idea or project without giving it more investigation.

A survival focused Lizard Brain has to adapt in today's world. If it becomes too strong, it stops us from achieving our goals or dreams. Because of the protective nature of the Lizard Brain, it will, for instance, remind us not to put forward your idea in a meeting because the last time you did you were ridiculed or completely ignored. Your Lizard Brain wants to protect you from those feelings so it rises up and tries to convince you to follow its power. In this instance you have to tame the Lizard Brain and be strong enough to give your ideas again but maybe in a different way so as to be taken more seriously.

So how are you going to handle your Lizard Brain?

What The Heck As A "Wordoid"?

In principle, Wordoid, is a site that will let you create “wordoids” (made-up words) that can have a preset beginning or ending, and which can be as natural or artificial as you want. English, Spanish, Italian and French are languages that are fully supported by Wordoid. rules when picking the name for a new business are deeply ingrained in common sense.

Picking words for domain names should have two basic characteristics: being short and being catchy. A short name ensures that people will not only remember it effortlessly, but will be also capable of recommending it through word of mouth.

Trouble is, most good and short names are already taken. This site will hep you come up with a word of your own that will reflect what your site is all about, and do so memorably. Easier said than done. That is why there are sites such as this one available.

The Butterfly Effect

I love to read books about the plight of women and their combined strengths of surviving the odds.

With that said, I just finished reading a wonderful book, “Veiled Threat by Canadian author, Sally Armstrong [editor - in -charge for Chatelaine Magazine and contributing editor for Maclean’s Magazine].

This is her account of the struggle the women of Afghanistan faced under the 4 year dictatorship of the Taliban. It is a complex book telling the tales of women who once lived their lives under the influence of Islam (based on the teachings of the Koran), and then having to live under the rule of the Taliban who interpreted the Koran to their way of dictatorship.

Never once did the Afghanistan woman give up on the hope that their rights as a humans and women would be restored. All they wanted was the right to education, health care, and to choose who they wish to marry. They gathered momentum and together shunned the Taliban, and in turn won most of their rights back. These are stories of very educated determined women, true mentors of our time.; little known until September 2001.

This is a very basic overview of this touching and emotional book. My purpose of sharing is the fact that the theory of the “Butterfly Effect” was brought into last pages of the book.

On page 188 Sally writes, “There’s a theory called the Butterfly Effect. It’s based on a principle that everything in life is connected; everything no matter how small. A physicist allowed that the flapping of butterfly wings can change the weather hundreds of miles away. The message is that when a butterfly flaps its wings on one side o the world, eventually the effect is felt on the other side of the world.”

In 2001, Gloria Steinem said in a CNN chat room, “We each have a lot of power. Together we make one hell of a butterfly.”

She was referring to the women of Afghanistan but it is a statement of all women in this world.

It is also a great theory for the power of MLM, Internet marketing, and social media. Look how one flap of a wing continued across this planet until millions of dollars were raised on Twitter for Haiti. How Facebook helped find loved ones in the aftermath of the Chilean earthquake; all it took was one flutter.

If everyone joined in the fluttering, look what can be accomplished.

-Inspirational!!
I loved this!!

This Weeks Reading Material

This week I decided by recommendation to start reading "Hypnotic Writing" by Joe Vitale.

Always being fascinated by the power of words and the mystery of hypnosis, I thought this would make for a good read. It does!! Joe has a way with words to instruct how to write copy so that the readers will not want to put it down, or even more important will WANT to read more.

This method also comes into play for Internet Marketing. The written word must be short and powerful. You want to sell, and words market your product. Now add hypnotic writing into the equation and your sales with increase. But most important your following will increase because they want to read more of you.

San Juan, Puerto Rico

Buenos Dias from PR.

Enjoying the first part of our spring break in the Caribbean. Rainy and stormy but what's a little adventure without some inclement weather.

Long plane trip here across our great continent but not without a little action. My husband is a GP and my mother-in-law a retired intravenous nurse. Both put into action as a very sick passenger dehydrated quickly. My step son filled in as light technician and I was held hostage by all their drinks and eating paraphernalia that as plopped on top of my in the emergency.

No diversion of plane needed but in PR the passenger refused eMT help because she had no medical. Think about that stupidity for a while.

anyway ill be getting back to work on my training and will update as I go. Won't push too hard as this is Spring Break. Hopefully it's yours, and you can enjoy it however with your loved ones.

If you want to know how I can ravel and work just click on my logo and read for yourself the opportunities that CarbonCopyPro is affording me.

Learned A New Word Today.

Monday's New Word: Zeigarnik

Do you know what the Zeigarnik Effect is???

Before I answer I want to share that the answer came from listening to CarbonCopyPro Training Webinar Archives in the back office. David Schwind is their copy-writing expert and he has a series of training tapes on copy-writing.

Today, he through out the word Zeigarnik and its effect.

The effect; we as humans remember better that which is unfinished or incomplete. An example the weekly show - 24; nothing is complete before each commercial break so it keeps you holding on. Another example, is who shot JR in the famous series of Dallas. We waited a whole summer for the resolution and we remembered for twelve weeks that we wanted to find the solution.

How does this effect work in copy-writing? You have to give your reader a reason to remember your broadcast. To achieve this you have to give them something in your headline to grab their attention, then use this effect to keep them remembering your info while reading the body of your broadcast.

The point of the effect is to confuse your reader. Give them lots of info about different things and then start the body of your broadcast with totally different info. This keeps them glued to find out how all the pieces create a whole.

To drive people to your website with this effect, you can mention 3 things to get great copy-write. Then in the body of the article, you mention ONLY two of the three. Then make the excuse that you are tired of writing and if the reader wants the third point then turn to your website to find out.

Confusion with a result is the answer.
