Working With Facebook

Today is Monday. It is wonderful day to make friends. This is the day that I concentrate on Facebook. I love to look at information that has been written all week and see who has something to say.

I love to see who of my friend's have joined what team, or organization, or mission. Many I relate to, some I don't but that is what makes the world go round.

So increase your friends with a similar strategy as you would do in Twitter;

Go to the people that you really enjoy their thoughts and "shares." Look into the profiles into their friend's profiles and see if any would appeal to your circle. Don't ask them to join so you can sell something, ask them to join so that you can get to know them, and to share info and the world around you.

With Facebook, you have a better chance to get to know people than you do on Twitter. Info isn't as limited, and the info shared online is more extensive. So you can really get to know people and although you have never met in person, you feel you have.

This is special. Work with it and have fun making friends. I do.

Tips On CopyWriting

Today I listened to tips on copy-writing by David Schwind of CarbonCopyPro today. Basically copy-writing whether by articles, ad or video, it is just the art of writing words to get money from you.

Basic Formula:

A-Attention
I-Interest
D-Desire
A-Action

Here's what I do!
Here's what I can do for you!
Here's what I can do for you!

Meet your prospect in what they need, or where they are in their needs of today.

Simple? Well they are take the time to go over the training call archive in CCPro. That's right there are archives. So if you miss a webinar or training call then you can go back and catch up. Just remember no to get too overwhelmed with keeping up. There is a learning curve to CCPro and it takes one step at a time.
So click on my logo, read, apply and click send. You could be in training in a matter of hours. It's up to you.

Got to get back to training. Will share more when I learn more!
Have a great day!

I am Having So Much Fun!

Getting to know people through Social Media. There is so much to learn from others. It brightens my day to see people following their dreams and goals. I love seeing what's out there to bring people into focus with their wishes.

I am almost at 2000 followers and have had fun picking and choosing who to share my thoughts with. Together with our tweeting, we all are only one click closer to conquering all that we have set out to do.

Tomorrow I am going to take my webinar tapes at CarbonCopyPro and study copy-writing. I am not good at this but hopefully with a little training, patience and perseverance I can master it.

Challenges a constant. So glad for my baby steps.

Increase Your Following.

Getting your tweets up - How?

Go to your Tweet manager and unfollow all your follows that are not mutual.
Then head back to your home page.
Refresh and go to your followers.
Pick through your followers' bios and choose one that you would like to have their followers follow you.
Go to their followers and start following.
Try to avoid anyone who doesn't have a personal snap shot.
As they say a smile brings many followers. If you are seen as having fun then others want to know what that is about and join you.
Also avoid followers that have weird or illicit headings. If in doubt read their bio before following.
Click on their followers for the next 5 pages.
Do this with two more of your followers - for a total of 3 followers and 15 pages.
Then wait and see who responds.
Do this daily - purge and follow.
Make sure to keep in touch with your Direct Messages also.
If someone has followed you with a DM and is not selling anything. DM them back. Start up a twitter relationship.
Of course it is difficult to do this with Everyone, but do your best.

This is just a quick overview to the art of twitting. You can go to Google and find more in-depth instruction on marketing. And you can have great instruction with your CarbonCopyPro instructional webinars. So consider this if it is important to you to improve your Twitter relationships.

Why Use Twitter and How?

There are many reasons to use Twitter; meeting friends, share a chat, market a business, drive traffic to your website, get inspiration or get a pulse on what the world talks about, just to name a few. It is a very social media tool.
I joined Twitter as an experiment. I wanted to see how social media could expand in my world beyond Facebook. I didn't really know what I was doing and really only played with it.

Then I decided to take some Twitter training which was offered to me through CCPro. I learned a whole new world to Twitter that I didn't even think I would have discovered if I hadn't utilized the free training offered.

After signing up an account, how do you start? I wrote down my interests, especially the ones I wrote briefly in my bio. Then I went in "Find People" and looked up those interests as a subject. For example, Photography, Photo Gurus, Pet Photographers....
Other examples; Social Media, Internet Marketers, Travel Experts, Book Enthusiasts.....

Carefully read each bio of the Twitters that pop up and follow each if they fit your interests. Remember to start training yourself early to follow the 20% rule of following and followers. This rule becomes important as soon as your each 200 following. The rule states that once you have reached 200 following you may not let your followers fall below 20%. For example, if you have 2001 followers you must at least have 1801 followers before you can keep following.

Now how is this done? Make sure who you follow are following you. If a following is not a follower - unfollow. If you do not have the Twitter following you then your tweets are not getting to that person and a relationship is not building between the two of you. That's a wasted tweet. So make sure your tweets are being recycled by always following those that follow you and unfollow those that don't.

There are a few ways to keep on top of your following/follower ratio. Google this question to find them all listed. But a couple I know of are:

Social OOmph - previously known as Tweeter Later

We'll talk more later about how to manually keep our ratio intact and how to manage tweets.

Part 3

OK, so now I have received verification that I have been accepted into the CCPro membership. Now what do I do? First and best thing is to start at the beginning. Follow all the step lined out for you. Buy your BIB, Then you set you goals and then you decide if you want to join Wealth Masters International (WMI).

Yes all very overwhelming. Good. That's what we want. BUT if you follow the steps one by one, then you will; be in good hands because their training and advice is full proof. It works. Just don't jump ahead, and don't think you know everything already. Because you don't!!! I promise you. There is a learning curve and it is quite simple but it does take time.

You can do as little or as much as slow or as fast as you want. The only thing standing in your way is your budget. But CCPro and WMI have budgets for EVERYONE. So you can start off small and in time get bigger and bigger. OR you can grab all that is offered and go big fast. There are plenty of options to fit your budget no matter what it is.

Now for the "But" word to come into your minds. “I can’t do it. It’s too difficult!”

Sound familiar? This is a natural response to every new challenge. How do you deal with such negative thoughts? The trick is to say first of all: “Yep. I’ll do it.” - (Tip: say “Yes” before your rational mind kicks in with, “Are you crazy?!”)

For example, next time someone asks you, “We’re forming a fun soccer team. Do you want to join?” simply say, “Yes!” – even if you’ve never played before. Worry about it later!

Part 2

....So I pushed the send button and waited. Worried. What had I just done? Where with this adventure take me? Have I done the right thing? Will lightening strike? Will my migraine return? Will the kids start fighting? What will be my omen?

OK - a little dramatic, I know. But we have all been there when we have ventured to the unknown. But as Christopher Columbus said, "Following the light of the sun, we left the Old World." (Also, you can't venture to the future if you never lose sight of the shore. It isn't exact, but I know he said this somewhere. Anyway it sounds good and is true if you ponder it.)

Then to my dismay what should appear in my in box but an actual application form to join CCPro. What? They just don't take anyone? How can that be. Ahhhhh! Yes, the testimonials do say it isn't a MLM company. But did I truly believe? Obviously not 100%.

So I filled out the extensive application and once again had to click the send" button. There comes those feelings again, but not to the degree as the first click.

I am now told a representative will be contacting me by phone in the next 24 hours after they have reviewed my application and it has to be accepted. Now, they had some credibility with me. I felt like who I am is being taken seriously. I am a somebody.

I can hear your rumbles under your breath as I write this. Yes, this could all be a smoke screen, and yes, they probably accept everyone. But I am given a 30 day $ back guarantee if I take the next step after acceptance. So so far I am still in my comfort zone. No money +no commitment = still can turn back if not satisfied with their policies and procedures (aka, MLM in sheep's clothing.) That is if I am accepted. I am confident that I will be so I wait................(again.)

How Did I get Started With CCPRO and WMI?

Part 1:

I joined Twitter one day to see what all the tweeting was about. I loved Facebook, so how hard could it be?
I Continued playing, experimenting and then it got exciting. I met the most amazing people online from all over the world. I shared so many interests with so many people. I didn't even know there was such a big online world out there. I have traveled to so many far and away places, but I met more people on line and didn't have to purchase a ticket. (This will not stop me from travelling. I love it too much!)

From these new twitter friends, my Facebook population grew, and I found even more people that I shared same interests with. Talk about a snowball effect.

Suddenly from out of the blue I was slapped silly by this tweet about working from home. curiosity had me into the site. (Lucky I am not a cat. It didn't kill me.) First, I saw the huge income potential that could be made from hard work. Then I saw the infrastructure of the organization and I started to get that quiver in my stomach and that feeling of "Uh Oh! - another MLM scheme."

This brought back instant day-mares of MLM attempts gone past. All the phone calls, the $ spent on flyers, emails, promotional kits, upgrades, lugging "junk" from one show or demonstration to another. Long nights (early mornings, I should say) afterwards going over submitting orders, working out numbers, drinking coffee, avoiding a migraine, praying my kids would sleep just a little bit longer. NO THANKS. Never again. End of story? Right? Well obviously not.

I decided to research and research and research this company. I could re-sight the company policies and promises in my sleep. I kept checking in the mirror hoping to see my face on my shoulders not the images of the founders. It was creeping me out. I was getting to familiar with them.

But you know what I? I couldn't find a hitch. No MLM. No shows. What gives.?Well it is my hard work at learning the internet marketing curve that will help me to be financially independent. I could handle that. I am always game to learning new. I don't ever want my kids to think of me as too old to learn new tricks. Plus if I stay on the learning curve this sets an important example for them to follow. (Who am I kidding? They are grown adults and know way more in their twenties than I do nearing fifty. But that topic is for a whole other blog.)

So I started small. Just filled out the application and hesitantly pushed send. Then waited.......
